More than satisfied with my experience with Chalkville Auto & Tire Service. They gave me an accurate estimate of costs, provided excellent service to my aging vehicle and drove me to my place of work and picked me up with the service was completed. They were recommended to me by my church, which has it's two vans serviced there.

I am always pleased with the quality of their work and the prompt service.

I have used use Chalkville Auto & Tire for 10 years. I use them for oil change and repairs. Every Oil Change, they check fluid levels, filters and tire pressure. Repairs are completed quickly. They explain what needs repair, and always call me prior to working on the vehicle with the cost. heir pricing is fair. I have moved to St. Clair County and drive back to Jefferson to use their service.

Was happy with the service I received.. was easy to communicate with them and work was performed in a timely manner as promised.

I had a full synthetic oil and filter change (NAPA Gold oil filter provided by shop not a cheap one), tire rotation and pressure check (all five), chassis lube and overall vehicle check done while I waited. The whole she bang took less than an hour with an appointment. Granted, it was a few bucks more than the "same service" at the local GMC dealer, but several miles closer from Clay and I got one on one attention to my vehicle. In the past they have also done a couple of emergency same day repairs on my wife's ancient Honda Accord. I consider that a bargain and will return. They also aren't shy about working on older vehicles as noted by several 60's and 70's classics they work on. People who own older vehicles sometimes have a difficult time finding good wrenches to repair "pre-computer" vehicles. No worries here. Highly recommended!!
